Want to Be Resilient? Reduce Complexity

A recent article, which has appeared in the Harvard Business Review blog, and entitled "Want to Build Resilience? Kill The Complexity", starts by describing how complexity contributed to the AF447 Airbus crash over the Atlantic in 2009.

We are pleased that our philosophy - excessive complexity is THE source of fragility - is being recognized and that prestigeous magazines now publish articles about it. They don't offer any clue as to how complexity may be measured, but that is another issue, which has been solved by Ontonix.

On the issue of complexity and the fate of AF447 we have written a short article. On the issue of complexity in engineering design read more here.
